Thursday 24th July 2025

8pm – 10.30pm

If you have a detector, please bring it!

Following the success of our Swift Nest Box talk, we now offer you the opportunity to hear a talk by an associate of the Bat Conservation Trust, Colin Edwards.

Plan for the evening:

8pm: Colin will give a talk with a slide show to help you to identify the bats in our locality

9.30pm: Colin will lead a walk around the village in order to detect some bats! Colin has bat detectors to borrow.

Contingency plan if it rains: we will postpone until Thursday 31st July – same time and place

This is because detectors will get damaged in rain and some bats are unlikely to fly.

This is a free event. We will have a donation bucket for the Bat Conservation Trust.

Please come and support us!
